Following the Civil War, the City of Buffalo's population grew tremendously. With the invention of electric streetcars, people were able to live outside of walking distance from their jobs. By 1888, the first homes were being built in what would become "Buffalo's First Suburb". By 1890, nearly 300 people called this place home. Do you know what Buffalo's first suburb is? 

Kenmore, which the American Planning Association named as  "One of the Top 10 Great Neighborhoods" in the United States in 2009. The village is also one of America's 100 most dense urban areas.
