When this iconic  building opened in 1901, the tiles on the dome were a simple beige terra-cotta. In the 1950's,  it was gilded with sheets of 23.75-carat gold leaf. It currently serves as a branch of M&T Bank and has been designated a City of Buffalo Landmark. What bank was this building originally constructed for?
