6. Paperwork, Paperwork, Paperwork The paperwork in the real estate process can be overwhelming. Now imagine coordinating the paperwork in addition to all front end activity, such as open houses, showings, marketing and all other back-and-forth between seller and buyer. Different documents are needed for each step of the process and forms change whether you are buying or selling your home. A Realtor is going to be able to help you navigate the volume of paperwork as well as help you to understand what it is that you're signing.
